Swings Both ways

"A real mixed bag of an album. This Swing album is really a chance for Robbie to show off his voice, which definitely sounds great here, very mature and refined compared to older recordings. The backing orchestra is also great, and the album sounds fantastic in most places, with a real Swing atmosphere. There are weak links though, 'Snowblind' and 'Swing Supreme' in particular. Unfortunately, the heavy reliance on Cover versions makes the lyrics unoriginal, and the constant shifts between antique and modern songs make the album seem patchy "
